Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Carlos Tearney (Renshi, 4th Dan)
Renshi Carlos Tearney is an Eleven time, and CURRENT World Karate Champion! His most recent title was just won in december of 2009. He is a 4th Degree Black Belt & a Certified Personal Trainer. His personal goal as a martial arts instructor is to help every one of his students become a "Champion in Life"!
He puts student benefit FIRST in every class! He is the ONLY Martial Artist from Syracuse to EVER win a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

Jay Rotella (Sensei, 5th Dan)
Founder & Instructor of "East West Okinawan Karate", the largest Martial Arts Training center in Palm Beach County Florida.
Sensei Rotella has a number of former students currently employed in the US Marshals, Homeland Security, The F.B.I. & D.E.A., although his "favorite" student is a Kindergarten teacher in Palm Beach, Florida! He is a Certified, 5th Degree Black Belt in Okinawan Karate under Master Jonathan Lowell.

Perri Rotella (Sensei 5th Dan)
Master Instructor, "East West Okinawan Karate"
Nationally Certified, Child Care Center Director. Founder/director of "East West Karate Kid Academy" the 1st Licensed After-School Karate program in the State of Florida.
Sensei Rotella is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Okinawan GoJu Karate,& a 1st Degree Black Belt in
Okinawan Kobayashi Shorin Ryu Karate. Her students are World & National Championship title holders. Her committment to her students success
is proven in every class!

John Esposito (Sensei, Ni Dan)
Sensei John Esposito is a outstanding Instructor! He is 2nd Degree Black Belt & a Certified, Personal Trainer. His commitment and dedication serve as an example for every student! He has the skills & character that parents hope to see their children gain from Martial Arts! Sensei John is an inspiration to every student, & a cornerstone of Champions Martial Arts!
